Director - Becky James
Becky James uses humor, violence, and fragmentation to explore the fringes of narrative. She has exhibited animation and installation at New York City art galleries including James Fuentes, Recess Art, and Primetime. She has also participated in dozens of film festivals including SXSW (three-time award winner), Slamdance, Filmfest Oldenburg, Rooftop Films, Krok, Animation Block Party (audience award), and International Film Festival Rotterdam. A native New Yorker, James graduated from Harvard in 2007 and received her MFA from Bard in 2014.
Director of Photography - Kevin Hayden
Born and raised in the woods of NJ, in 2008 Kevin Hayden moved to Brooklyn to build and manage Brooklyn Fireproof, the much-loved Bushwick production complex, while also founding his production company Anchor Light. With Anchor Light, Hayden produced or shot over fifty music videos, commercials, and fashion films for clients ranging from Vice to Adidas, Proenza Schouler to Andrew WK. With each project his passion for shooting deepened, and in the fall of 2012 Hayden left Brooklyn Fireproof to focus solely on cinematography. When not shooting, Hayden can be found sailing, surfing, or watching old episodes of Yo Gabba Gabba.
